Mercedes-Benz E-Class Shows off New Engine Among 2020 Upgrades

Sometimes, you crave a little power to go along with your sedan. You don't necessarily need to be able to tow a boat with it but adding a little get-up-and-go on the interstate from Readington to Washington, is ideal. Thankfully, Mercedes-Benz took that into account when it upgraded its midsized E-Class sedan.

The headliner of the 2020 Mercedes-Benz E-Class is the new turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four engine. Its 255 horsepower gives you 14 more horsepower than the previous versions of the E-Class. This is the same engine that was introduced in the updated C-Class and the 2020 GLE SUV. The new powerful engine changes the E-Class from the E-300 to the E-350. Though rear-wheel drive comes standard, you can choose the all-wheel drive option and get more out of the nine-speed automatic transmission.

The Mercedes-Benz E-Class sedan keeps its stunning good looks, while the E-Class Coupe will feature a few cosmetic changes. Its profile will remain the same, but it will now show off a redesigned grille and bumper style. The LED headlights will become slimmer giving you a sleeker look from the front. The taillights take on a sportier look on the new incarnation of the E-Class.

When it comes to driver assist or safety features, you can count on the 2020 E-Class to provide the same quality features you can currently find on 2019 E-Class. Automated emergency braking, lane-keeping assist and semi-autonomous driving mode will still be offered on the 2020 version of the E-Class. Because it is a Mercedes-Benz you can still expect to get classy interior features, like supremely comfortable seats and superb infotainment features.

As soon as the 2020 version of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class is released, you'll find it at Mercedes-Benz of Flemington. We are the location preferred by Clinton and Lebanon Drivers. Come to Flemington and see what sets Mercedes-Benz apart from other luxury brands.
